Agency rules no permit required for Weymouth pond expansion

CT ENFIELD — Enfield wetlands agency clears large pond expansion project. The Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency voted unanimously to rule that no permit is required for Angelo and Christie Bosco to expand their 86 Weymouth Road pond from 7,100 to 40,000 square feet. The expansion will preserve existing vegetation on three sides, with grass planting on the south side facing the house.

Staff inspection identified two seasonal water features within the target area; the agency stipulated that original approval conditions remain in effect.
