Athletic Hall of Fame creates volunteer tier, reshapes structure

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame creates volunteer tier for supporters. The committee, meeting Tuesday at the Enfield Senior Center, reported a Hall of Fame checkbook balance of $1,895.92 and an Amy Romano/Field Hockey checkbook balance of $5,998.38. Kris Couture is retiring as secretary; Chairperson Mike Cotnoir will serve as interim secretary until a replacement is found.

The organization will submit two scholarships to Enfield High School: one for the Athletic Hall of Fame and one for the Amy Romano Memorial Field Hockey award. Officer elections were postponed to February due to insufficient quorum. The annual banquet is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Oak Ridge Country Club in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts.
