Board of Education · Meeting of April 8, 2026
CT ENFIELD — Enfield Board of Education approves educational specifications for school project. Board Member Danielle Girard moved approval of specifications for Hazardville Memorial, Prudence Crandall, Edgar H. Parkman, and Henry Barnard elementary schools, each receiving 8-0-1 approval with Board Member Philip Kober abstaining; the Eagle Academy Therapeutic Program's specifications for relocation to Eli Whitney received unanimous approval.
Kober noted during discussion that Eagle Academy's relocation would constitute renovation rather than new construction and that the program needs expanded space, with enrollment currently capped at 30 students due to space constraints. Superintendent Steven Moccio and Deputy Superintendent Andrew B. Longey were present, along with architects Jeff Wyszynski and Antonia Ciaverella of Tecton Architects. ===BRIEF===
