Board extends superintendent's contract through June 2029

CT ENFIELD — The Enfield Board of Education extended Superintendent Steven A. Moccio's contract through June 30, 2029, in a unanimous vote. All nine Board members approved his 2025-26 evaluation, citing his work in making budgeting processes clearer and more transparent, along with his strengths in finance and organization.
The Board also unanimously approved a 25-cent lunch price increase for 2026-27, expected to generate $39,000 for the Nutrition Services Department, which operates independently. Breakfast will remain free for all students.
