CT ENFIELD — Enfield Building Committee approves architect invoices, leans toward November referendum. Committee Chair Randy Daigle and 12 members approved $131,881.55 in Tecton Architects invoices and expressed preference for holding the school construction referendum on the November general election rather than a special September election. Members cited higher voter turnout and reduced costs as reasons to align with regular balloting.
Committee member Steven Moccio stressed the urgency, stating that school buildings are failing and the project "has to happen."
