Commission on Aging approves $10,000 budget for next year

CT ENFIELD — Commission on Aging approves $10,000 budget for coming year. The Enfield Commission on Aging voted unanimously July 8 to accept the financial report and approve the $10,000 budget for fiscal 2026-2027, returning approximately $4,900 of unspent funds to the town. Under Chairman Alice Egan and guidance from Treasurer Tim Slade, members maintained budget allocation categories unchanged from the prior year.

The Enfield Senior Center under Manager Mary Keller has deployed MyRec registration software and hired Program Specialist Dorey Marinone, while camp costs for the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program totaled approximately $1,322 across five camps.
