Committee approves $15,000 environmental study for school referendum process

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Pre-K-5 Committee approves $15,000 environmental study for school referendum process. The Pre-K Through 5 and Eagle Academy School Pre-Referendum Building Committee voted to hire Eagle Environmental, Inc. to conduct Phase I site and building environmental assessment, required for state grant applications. The committee scheduled a special Board of Education presentation for April 8 at 5:30 p.m. to review the school projects.
The statewide project is estimated at $105 million with Enfield's share at $18 million, pending a September 22, 2026 referendum.
