CT ENFIELD — The Enfield Blight Review Committee voted to recommend foreclosure on a property maintenance lien. Deputy Mayor John Santanella and committee members Jennifer Bruyette and Jennifer Bakowski supported recommending the Town Council foreclose on the $30,600 lien at 10 Rim Street, stemming from a vehicle violation that began in 2022; the motion passed 4-0-1 with Jim Byrne abstaining due to a conflict of interest. The property owner has not responded to four years of contact attempts.

The Committee tabled a second blight case at 27 Francis Avenue until January 2027, giving owner Annette Choiniere time to complete roof repairs; that motion passed unanimously 5-0-0.
