CT ENFIELD — Enfield Conservation Commission approves minutes and holds real estate executive session. Chair William Paul Cote led seven commissioners through status updates on conservation initiatives. Commissioner Gretchen Pfeifer-Hall reported contact with Mayor Cekala regarding open space purchase.
Commissioner Megan Kelley shared findings from the Connecticut Land Conservation Conference and recommended rain gardens for all new site plan approvals. The commission reviewed four ongoing conservation goals: identifying open space parcels, obtaining grants for natural resources, creating a trail map, and identifying vernal pools. The executive session produced no decisions.
