DPW Subcommittee Eliminates 27 Roadside Mowing Areas

CT ENFIELD — Enfield's DPW Subcommittee approves elimination of 27 roadside mowing areas. The subcommittee voted 3-0 to approve Councilor Pyznar's motion eliminating 27 mowing areas and reducing two additional areas within the town's right-of-way and on state property, with the caveat that grandfathered areas will remain on the mowing list. In related business, the committee discussed mechanical and surface issues at the Annex Building and its field facilities.
Deputy Mayor Santanella requested the May meeting be devoted entirely to Annex building and field issues, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
