CT ENFIELD — Enfield Economic Development Commission advances Restaurant Week and Passport programs targeting local merchants. The commission agreed to limit Restaurant Week participation to brick-and-mortar establishments and directed Director Aaron Marcavitch to verify health department compliance. The Small Business Passport program, supported by the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities, will require no participation fee and will feature a stamp-collection component for patrons who make purchases.
Registration for Restaurant Week is expected to open in July 2026, while the town simultaneously pursues a $4 million Department of Transportation planning grant for Elm Street traffic improvements.
