CT ENFIELD — Enfield Agricultural Commission reviews text amendment application for cidery amplified music entertainment. Chair Karen LaPlante convened the seven-member board to discuss the proposal for Red Brewster Cidery and Distillery. Commissioner Gretchen Pfeifer-Hall expressed concerns, noting that another Connecticut farm was shut down for hosting amplified music due to neighbor complaints.
The commission approved July 14 meeting minutes by roll-call vote with Nancy Wyzga abstaining and continues work on farm-friendly zoning regulations and community farmland preservation.
