Enfield approves storage containers at Kia dealership

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Planning board approves Kia dealership storage modification. The commission unanimously approved a site plan modification allowing two temporary storage containers at Gary Rome Kia, 809 Enfield Street, contingent on two site-specific compliance conditions. Assistant Planner Stephen Hiney explained the containers violated zoning regulations; the applicant agreed to relocate them for compliance.
The commission also received a new application for a childcare center at 141 Hazard Avenue and discussed preliminary text amendments to the Lake Overlay District zoning provisions.
