Enfield Blight Committee reduces fines on foreclosed King Court property

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Blight Committee reduces fines for foreclosed King Court property after rehabilitation. The Committee voted unanimously to cut property maintenance fines from $12,474 to $2,474 for 26 King Court, which was acquired through foreclosure in late 2024 and subsequently rehabilitated. Debbie Colli of Realty One Group Cutting Edge represented the property bank at the meeting.

The Committee also discussed ordinance revisions being reviewed by the Town Attorney's Office, with Councilor Carol Hall requesting language addressing dumpsters and moving pods on residential properties.
