CT ENFIELD — Enfield Commission on Aging approves promotional magnet purchase. Vice Chairman Marlene Hoginski presided over the February 11 meeting in the absence of Chairman Alice Egan, authorizing $1,798 spending on 2,000 green telephone magnets from Minute Man Printing for Senior Center outreach. The commission heard updates on Senior Center programming, including a New Year's celebration drawing 100 seniors, approximately 100 tax appointment registrations, and an upcoming Valentine's Day social expecting 110 attendees.

The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program continues to grow with 24 to 26 participants per session at the relocated Alcorn site. The Military Tribute Banners program has sold 89 banners to be displayed on town grounds from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.
