Enfield Commission on Aging's TV program wins national media award

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Commission on Aging's Senior Living program wins national media award. The television program, which has aired on Cox Community Television Channel 15 since January 2019, earned first place honors in the 2026 Hometown Media Awards competition from the Alliance for Community Media Foundation. The Commission also heard that approximately 400 attended the Police Picnic and that Kay Tallarita will be honored Friday for over 30 years as Senior Center director.

A groundbreaking for Angela's Gardens, a 41-unit income-based housing complex with units priced at 30 percent of income, took place June 3rd, with occupancy expected in January 2027.
