Enfield Conservation Commission forms aquifer protection subcommittee

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Conservation Commission decides to form a subcommittee on aquifer protection environmental requirements. Chair William Cote directed the new panel to meet with the Connecticut Land Conservation Council president via Zoom to explore environmental standards for projects within aquifer protection areas. Commissioner Megan Kelley, who coordinated with the council president, will be involved in the subcommittee's work.

The commission approved amended April 14 meeting minutes by a vote of four in favor, zero opposed, and two abstentions, and set its next meeting for June 9.
