Enfield EDC approves governance bylaws, establishes five-member quorum

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Economic Development Commission approves governance bylaws and advances business initiatives. Chair Mary Ann Turner led the Commission in unanimously approving two bylaw amendments: one establishing the Commission as a 13-member board with nine Town Manager appointees and four ex-officio members, all with voting rights; the second setting five commissioners as the minimum quorum. Director Aaron Marcavitch reported ongoing work on Congressional Directed Spending programs for sewer, public safety, streetscaping, and waterfront projects.

The Commission advanced plans for Enfield Restaurant Week (October 4-11, 2026) and a Small Business Passport program running through Small Business Saturday.
