Enfield facilities committee seeks $15,000 for delayed school roof tests
Joint Facilities Committee · Meeting of August 13, 2026
CT ENFIELD — Enfield facilities committee seeks $15,000 for stalled school roof tests. The Joint Facilities Committee discovered that a roof-condition study directive issued in February had not begun due to lack of allocated funding; the Town Manager has now directed staff to proceed. Testing for Parkman, Crandall, and Stowe schools is estimated to cost $15,000 with repairs projected at $50,000 to $75,000.
Committee member Zach Zannoni will seek the testing appropriation from Mayor Gina Cekala, and members agreed to meet regularly going forward to maintain oversight of building maintenance.
