Enfield Planning & Zoning approves text amendment, denies storage permit

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Planning and Zoning board approves text amendment and denies storage container request. Chair Kenneth Hilinski led the commission to unanimously adopt XZA# 26-01, a text amendment modifying the town's zoning regulations per Connecticut Public Act 23-142, effective March 2. The commission also unanimously approved a special permit for excavation at 1604 King Street with 28 conditions, releasing $31,668 in performance bonds for a completed project at 9 Hazard Avenue.

Commissioners unanimously denied a storage container application at 1695 King Street due to setback violations and lack of a Certificate of Occupancy.
