Enfield proposes $168M budget with $1.5M for field repairs

CT ENFIELD — Enfield proposes $168.2 million FY2027 budget. Town Manager Matthew Coppler and Superintendent Steven Moccio presented a general fund budget with $83.6 million for schools (4.97 percent increase) and $84.6 million for town operations (4.92 percent increase), including $1.5 million for Annex track and field repairs. The proposed mill rate increase would raise property taxes $556 annually on a $200,000 home and $1,251 on a $450,000 home.

Public comment focused on accumulated deferred maintenance, with over $6 million in capital projects unfunded and residents pressing the Council for long-term facilities planning.
