Enfield schools close in on grant application deadline

CT ENFIELD — Enfield school building committee advances five-project construction grant applications toward November referendum. The Pre-K through 5 Elementary Schools and Eagle Academy School Pre-Referendum Building Committee was updated June 17 on five school construction projects, with grant applications 98 percent complete for submission by June 30. Committee chair Randy Daigle and architect Jeff Wyszynski reported that special legislation for Hazardville and Crandall schools has been signed by the Governor and placed on the 2026 state priority list.
Three additional projects will be submitted by the deadline, with a proposed referendum set for November 3, 2026.
