General Government Subcommittee · Meeting of July 17, 2026
CT ENFIELD — Enfield General Government Subcommittee approves revised tax assessment abatement policy. The eight-member panel voted 3-0 Friday to adopt the amended policy and direct its submission to Town Council. Members approved a tax abatement request from the owner of 132 Weymouth Road but denied one from Related Affordable Fresh Water Apartments.
The committee also voted 3-0 to authorize Conservation Commission funding for a Scantic River land purchase and removed three long-standing cases from active review: sewer matters for Ronald and Janice St. Amand and Bojan Bojic, and a motor vehicle tax hardship case for Timonty Riordan.
