CT ENFIELD — Enfield subcommittee approves tax relief for hardship cases. The General Government Subcommittee voted 3-0 to forgive 2022 back taxes for David Popp on a vehicle, with the decision moving to the March 2 Town Council agenda for final approval. In a separate 3-0 vote, members waived interest and penalties and reduced combined vehicle taxes totaling $760.02 for Stephen Nadeau.

The subcommittee also scheduled special meetings to draft a formal Tax Assessment Abatement Policy and address pending tax abatement requests, while moving discussion of out-of-state vehicle registrations to a future special meeting. ===END===
