Enfield to add Teen Leadership course at middle school

CT ENFIELD — The Enfield Curriculum Committee reviewed new curriculum for 2026-2027, including a Teen Leadership elective for middle school. The course, based on the Leadworthy Curriculum, would require a new 1.0 FTE Physical Education and Health position currently in the town budget and carries a 500 dollar annual subscription fee. The committee also learned that French will not be offered at the middle school next year due to the inability to find a dual-certified French-Spanish teacher.
