Enfield Town Council hears FY27 budget presentations from four departments

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Town Council receives FY27 budget presentations from four departments. Police Chief Alaric Fox presented a $16.2 million budget, a 7.4 percent increase of $1.1 million, requesting fourteen vehicles totaling $1.07 million and facility improvements including a gate replacement and access control system upgrade totaling $358,400. Emergency Medical Services Director Erin Riggott proposed a $4.3 million budget, a 4.2 percent increase, requesting two additional staff positions.

Information Technology proposed a $4.7 million budget. Library Services, Recreation, and Senior Center also presented. No formal votes were taken.
