Enfield Town Council meets in executive session on pending litigation

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Town Council briefly convenes to address pending litigation in closed session. Nine of 11 council members met at 5:45 p.m., with Deputy Mayor John Santanella arriving at 6:30 p.m., to discuss two litigation matters: Santanella v. Jerez, et al, and pending property acquisition litigation.
Santanella and Town Attorney Cindy Cieslak recused themselves from the first matter, with outside counsel Christopher R. Henderson attending. The council took no formal action during executive session and subsequently heard a presentation from Sitestream representatives on automated traffic enforcement systems authorized under Connecticut law.
