Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Agency · Meeting of June 16, 2026
CT ENFIELD — Enfield wetlands agency approves infrastructure project over one dissent. The Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency voted 5-1 on June 16 to approve a Wetlands Permit for the Water Pollution Control Department to upgrade a wastewater pumping station and replace a retaining wall along Shaker Pond at 58 West Shore Drive. Member Anne Collins voted no, citing concerns the project would affect seven abutting properties and the watercourse.
The agency also unanimously approved an agent approval for material removal at 117 North Street and dismissed a violation notice for 13 Hillyer Drive after an investigation found no prohibited work.
