The commission issued a certificate of appropriateness for roof shingles on three additions at 1176 Enfield Street, with the main roof, replaced a decade ago, remaining unchanged. Owner Andrew LaPlant had begun work through contractor Digiorgi Roofing and Siding prior to seeking formal approval.
Assistant Town Planner Stephen Hiney confirmed the new shingles, though slightly darker, were appropriately matched for the historic district.
