Joint Facilities approves $47,161 change order for Transfer Station project

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Joint Facilities Committee unanimously approves $47,161.75 Transfer Station project change order. Donald Nunes presented the final settlement for Hinckley Construction, reached after years of disputed invoicing for work on the scale house foundation, plumbing, and handicap ramps. The motion was made by Gina Cekala and seconded by Danielle Girard, with all eight members present voting unanimously.
The committee also reviewed potential financial impacts of school modernization: Hazardville Memorial School roof work could result in $560,000 state liability, while Parkman School's $2.91 million roof project carries maximum $1.62 million state reimbursement liability.
