CT ENFIELD — Planning and Zoning Commission approves tow truck operation and considers Nathan Hale conversion. The commission voted unanimously to approve an application by Mandeep Singh to expand a non-conforming use to operate two tow trucks at 14 Cranbrook Boulevard, subject to five site-specific conditions. In separate business, the commission received an informal presentation on a proposed conversion of the former Nathan Hale school at 5 Taylor Road into a 55-and-over residential community with approximately 39 units.
Chris Marszalek and six fellow residents who purchased the property plan to renovate the building's exterior. The commission endorsed the concept.
