CT ENFIELD — Enfield Planning and Zoning Commission voted 7-0 to approve a mixed-use development at 100 Bright Meadow Boulevard including apartments, commercial space, and townhomes, with a required condition for pedestrian access to Brainard Road. The commission also voted unanimously to rezone 5 Taylor Road from Residential-33 to Special Design District, enabling conversion of an existing school building to age 55-plus housing, though a related application for the conversion itself was tabled pending completion of detailed site plans. In other action, the commission voted unanimously to send a positive referral to the town council for a proposed 99-year lease of the Old Town Hall at 1294 Enfield Street to the Enfield Historical Society.
