CT ENFIELD — Enfield Planning Commission approves childcare center with conditions. The commission unanimously approved a special use permit for Harshi Panchal Investments LLC to operate a childcare center at 141 Hazard Ave, with 19 conditions including submission of a detailed landscape plan, proper dumpster fencing, and confirmation of adequate outdoor play space. The commission also unanimously extended a five-year permit for mixed-use residential and commercial use at 11 Pearl St and received two administrative applications for use changes and site plan modifications.
The Zoning Enforcement Officer reported 42 violations over five months, and the town received approval to hire an additional full-time enforcement officer.
