Policy Committee tables 1000 series, modifies graduation policies

Board of Education · Meeting of February 9, 2026

CT ENFIELD — Enfield board policy group postpones 1000 Series review. The Board of Education Policy Committee voted unanimously to postpone replacing its 1000 Series policies with Shipman and Goodwin model policies, deferring that review to the March Policy Meeting. The committee also decided to modify graduation policy 6111 and repeal policy 6111.1.

Three members participated: Rosalee Brocuglio, Janet Cushman, and Kelsey McGuire-Bruce. Superintendent Steven Moccio and Deputy Superintendent Andy Longey were also present. All policy changes will be presented to the full Board of Education on February 10.
