Town Council Approves $28.5 Million Refunding Bonds to Save $350,000

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Town Council unanimously approves $28.5 million refunding bonds, projecting $350,000 savings. Town Manager Matthew Coppler reported the refinancing will reduce annual costs by up to $35,000. The Council also adopted a $550,000 Tax Increment Financing Fund budget and appointed Diane Pizzo to the Beautification Committee and Susan Mule to the Ethics Commission, both unanimously approved.
An additional $202,543.16 in early childhood education funding was authorized from the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.
