Water Pollution Control Authority Adopts 2027 Sewer Rates

Water Pollution Control Authority · Meeting of June 15, 2026

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Water Pollution Control Authority unanimously adopts its fiscal 2027 sewer rates. Town Manager Matthew Coppler told the authority that the Council had already adopted the WPCA budget for fiscal 2027, and the new fee schedule is necessary to fund it. Water usage-based rates are set at $7.70 per 1,000 gallons for consumption up to 20,000 gallons and $11.53 per 1,000 gallons for consumption exceeding 20,000 gallons.

Sewer connection fees remain at $3,000 per equivalent dwelling unit. Before the unanimous vote, Coppler identified and corrected a clerical error in the proposed schedule; the significant sewer user rate for properties with meters was raised from $6.27 to $11.53 per 1,000 gallons.
