Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Agency · Meeting of October 6, 2026

CT ENFIELD — Enfield's Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency approved a garage permit in a regulated wetland zone. The agency voted unanimously to permit property owner Douglas Fuller to construct a 26-by-26-foot detached garage with loft and lean-to at 153 Weymouth Road. Wetlands Agent and Assistant Town Planner Jeffrey Arigoni noted the structure exceeded the 800-square-foot threshold for agent approval alone.

In enforcement matters, the agency unanimously closed a Notice of Violation at 72 St. James Avenue after homeowners Patrick and Wendy McCloud apologized for pumping pool water into Grape Brook and the regulated wetland area on their property. The agency approved its 2027 meeting schedule with June and July meetings moved to accommodate the Summer Concert series.
