Wetlands agency approves tow truck operation and Grape Brook restoration

CT ENFIELD — Enfield wetlands agency unanimously approves tow truck expansion and Grape Brook restoration project. The Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency, led by Chair Donna Corbin Sobinski, approved permits for 14 Cranbrook Boulevard to expand motor vehicle repair services to include tow truck operations by American Roadside Services Inc, and for 83 First Avenue to restore Grape Brook to its original path coordinated with Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The Grape Brook project resolves a March 2024 cease-and-desist order; Chair Sobinski recommended a condition requiring seeding if vegetation does not regenerate naturally.
