Zoning Commission Approves 242 Brainard Road Senior Housing Development

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Planning & Zoning Commission approves Mannarino Builders senior residential development at Brainard Road. The commission unanimously backed a three-part application by owner Robert Mannarino of South Windsor for 242 Brainard Road, including a zone change from Multi Family Housing District to Residential 44, a text amendment allowing similar setbacks for senior housing, and site plan approval with 33 conditions. The commission confirmed the development will contain no fences or playscapes.
The commission also unanimously approved a change of use permit for a veterinary office at 7 Taylor Road with one site specific condition.
