CT ENFIELD — Enfield Beautification Committee elects Surdel chair and funds maintenance. The six-member committee unanimously allocated $2,500 to the garden club for maintenance at eight town locations, including major libraries and the prominent fountain, and $1,187.50 for flag and pole replacement. Committee member Carolyn Surdel was unanimously elected chairperson; she presented proposals for bat house installation ($421), Freshwater Pond flower bed refurbishment ($1,108), and meadow garden renovation ($2,015) for committee review.
