CT ENFIELD — Enfield Economic Development Commission approves bylaw changes affecting meeting procedures. Chair Mary Ann Turner led the commission to unanimously approve revisions to three bylaws sections, with changes to Section 3.8 now allowing future meeting dates to be chosen by December 31 of the preceding year instead of defaulting to the third Thursday. Director Aaron Marcavitch proposed the modifications, which also removed language related to authority in Section 3.11.
Concerns about quorum in the 13-member body led commissioners to rescind a motion recommending a Town Council amendment to the ordinance.
