CT ENFIELD — Charter Commission advances charter revision with May deadline. The Charter Revision Commission voted on dozens of proposed revisions spanning Officers and Elections, Town Council governance, and Town Manager authority, with Chair Rich Stroiney targeting completion of a draft report by May 12, 2026. Eight commissioners attended as the Commission approved amendments maintaining current election methods and council structure while updating procedural language.

The Commission tabled three items pending legal review and rejected a proposal to change Town Manager field-of-study requirements, with only Commissioners Gary Lucero and George Shaw supporting the change.
