Enfield Board of Education approves FY27 budget

Board of Education · Meeting of February 24, 2026

CT ENFIELD — Enfield Board of Education approves 4.97 percent budget increase for fiscal 2027. Superintendent Steven A. Moccio's proposal passed 8-1, with Robert Anderson dissenting, and includes a $3.96 million increase over the current year.

The budget restores the Career Center and adds six Academic Tutors (two for each primary school) to support instruction during the transition to Instructional Coaches. The board also approved hiring a full-time non-union staff member to expand the Career Center, a service that student surveys identified as a top priority.
